Any Manta Force fans out there?

It was a UK-only line with some of the most powerful missile-firing mechanisms ever made.
And depicted the horror of battle with aliens and robots in ways that the US could not allow.

Do you know about the M.A.N.T.A. Force?
More info to come in the days ahead.

I never heard of this line until you & Matt started talking about it, it looks really awesome though; I especially like the aliens. Weren't some of the vehicles from this line in the Mighty Max toyline later on down the road?

Soooo jealous! I'm really looking forward to seeing your comments on this line. It still upsets me to no end that the company was absorbed for Polly Pocket and they tossed the Manta Force stuff. :(

Great collection. Mine is still in boxes at my parents home. But I hope to be able to get it back with me soon. This was a great and unique toy line. Hope you will be able to bring it back.

Jeff,

great idea for a wiki!
I think the one thing I still have not seen is the box for a Starblaster.
MANTA FORCE is one of the great forgotten lines out there! Well worth the time to track down if one loves micro-play.

I've only ever seen 1 Starblaster that had a box. it was in a rough, Rough condition. To be honest the box was nothing special, compared to many ships in the manta force range. It was mostly a see-through plastic box; with cardboard base and sides.

Also the toys were also sold throughout many European countries, via an Italian company called FASSI. However, the colour of the toy did not always match the picture on the box.
