Lesson - don't buy mint on card vintage Madballs...

to open. This is what you wind up with when the rubber and foam don't cure properly:

it was the 80's, we didn't know NOT to go to bathhouses...

See the horrible faded colors (definite sun damage didn't help these guys)? The spots where the rubber has disappeared? I SUNK MY FINGERS INTO SWINE SUCKER AND KILLED HIM!

Don't let this happen to your Madballs.

I bought a mint on card madball from ebay once with plans to open it. When it arrived it was packaged so poorly that the plastic was crushed in on the ball and the backing was bent. I didn't care because I was going to open it anyway, then I notice that when the plastic crushed in on the madball, the madball stuck too the plastic!! I opened it and the ball disintegrated in my hands! never again!
